The Pioneer Valley Cappella (PVC) is a Northampton-based auditioned ensemble that has been performing unaccompanied choral music for over twenty-five years. We explore a fascinating range of repertoire; from early Renaissance to contemporary, the Americas to Eastern Europe.

We are happy to announce the return of Geoffrey Hudson, who conducted us from 2002 to 2007. An internationally-respected composer, Geoff brings his understanding and love of music both to rehearsals and to programs. For more about Geoff, visit http://www.hybridvigormusic.org.

Our concerts take place twice yearly. Our first program of the 2011/12 season, "Sowing Tears,
Harvesting Joy," will feature William Byrd's Mass for Four Voices and Hugo Wolf's Sechs geistliche Lieder. For more information, visit our concerts page. If you are interested in attending one of our concerts, auditioning or joining our e-mail list, please contact us.
