The Pioneer Valley Cappella (PVC) is a Northampton-based auditioned ensemble that has been performing unaccompanied choral music for nearly thirty years. We explore a fascinating range of repertoire; from early Renaissance to contemporary, the Americas to Eastern Europe.

Our conductor, Geoffrey Hudson, is an internationally-respected composer who brings his understanding and love of music both to rehearsals and to programs. For more about Geoff, visit http://www.hybridvigormusic.org.

Our concerts generally take place two weekends a year. The fall 2016 program, "Clap, Weep, Rage, Sleep," music of intense emotion and reconciliation, will be performed Friday November 18 and Saturday November 19, venues TBD. For details, visit our concerts page.

We rehearse at the Northampton Community Music Center. We will audition experienced singers through September - for details, visit our Audition page. If you are interested in attending one of our concerts or joining our e-mail list, please contact us.
